Chalatenango, the "valley of water and sand". This is the highest and northern most coffee growing region in El Salvador and is home to Finca San Antonio, a 5 acre farm owned by Johny Lemus. His pursuit of quality leads him to grow exceptional varieties. The finest of these being Gesha. The rich and fertile soil, as well as the cool nights of this region leads to a highly complex and developed cup. This coffee being naturally processed and dried in the cherry brings exotic flavors and characteristics of fruity fermented sweetness.
